Boulevard de la Croisette

This palm lined Boulevard is one of the most fashionable streets situated on the French Riviera and is one of the most popular places of tourist activities in Cannes. It is also called the beating heart of Cannes and is an ocean front boulevard which is lined with restaurants, cafes and shops and thronged with vacationers and dazzling locals. It also has beautiful palaces, luxury boutiques, sumptuous art deco buildings and palm trees which are amazing.

Cannes Yachting Festival

The Cannes Yachting Festival takes place every September and it is an excellent chance for visitors to admire the luxury yachts and latest boats on sale. The Cannes yachting festival attracts many international crowds, having around 50% attendees visiting from overseas. This event takes place at two locations; the Port Pierre Canto and the Vieux Port (Old Port).

Musee de la Castre


On the hill, over-looking the Bay of Cannes,
Musee de la Castre basically occupies a medieval castle (a classified historic monument) which was previously the monastery of Lerins monks’ .It is surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean garden and it boasts an exceptional view of the sea and coastline. This museum has an excellent collection of pre-Columbian primitive art, Mediterranean antiquities and Provencal landscape paintings of the 19th century. Moreover, you would be finding several small rooms in this museum which features exotic art works from the Himalayas and Oceania. You would also find an exclusive collection of musical instruments from various places around the world. The visitors visiting this beautiful place can also climb to the 12th century tower placed at the top of this building for taking a breath-taking 360 degrees panorama of the city of Cannes along with the surrounding area.
